Lifetime Achievement Award

The 2008 Pathfinders Awards, sponsored by Independent Health and organized by numerous groups supporting education, has named Erie 1 BOCES District Superintendent Donald Ogilvie as one of three lifetime achievement award winners. Buffalo’s Business First reports that each spring the awards recognize a group of businesspeople and educators who help create, not only connections between the classroom and the workplace but more importantly, careers.

Career Summer Camps

Students Named Best in State

Three Amherst High School seniors enrolled in technical programs at Erie 1 BOCES Harkness Career and Technical Center returned to school last week armed with trophies and a statewide title. Now these students will head to the national conference in Kansas City this June to compete with students from across the United States.
